Hyacinth Bucket hat by Sari Nordlund
This pattern is available on Ravelry. The Hyacinth Bucket hat is knitted in linen stitch from top down towards the brim. The hat is knitted using bulky weight yarn in a tight gauge to get the bucket hat shape to hold. The size of the hat and length of the brim are easily adjustable and options are given for modifying the fit. Choose a cotton, viscose or linen blend yarn or other non-stretchy fibers for the best result. You can weave a piece of metallic wire around the brim at the end to keep it stiffer and this way it will also keep its shape better.
