Alpaca 1 is a soft, 100% alpaca yarn with beautiful drape.  The plied strand gives wonderful stitch definition to cables, lace & textured patterns.  Ideal for shawls & wraps, the yarn is lightweight, yet substantial enough to take away the chill of a cool evening.  The yarn comes in a modern palette of solids & heathers with several natural undyed heathers.  Alpaca 1 is also lovely held double or holding with another yarn such as a silk mohair. Located on a small farm in Tversted, a lovely seaside village located on the northern tip of Denmark, Isager has been designing timeless patterns & yarns since 1977.
