Although National Poetry Month is officially in April, let's keep National Poetry Month going all the way through May! Celebrate and energize your writing practice with a 30-day poetry-writing adventure led by Sarah Carson, whose poetry has appeared in Diagram, Guernica, The Missouri Review, and more. Sarah is the author of three full-length poetry collections, including How to Baptize a Child in Flint, Michigan.  Each day we will celebrate poetry by reading and writing in a different poetic form. By the end of the month, you’ll have 30 new drafts and an appreciation for poetry’s many styles and iterations.  If a poem a day sounds overwhelming, don’t worry. Each day’s prompts will be short.
