from the classic, beloved series by laura lee hope, this beautiful, vintage 1927 book includes a book jacket with no tears and in great shape other than a tiny bit of general aging along the edges. the book itself looks nearly perfect, except for an ink-penned original owner's name inscription of "judy capito" inside the book's cover. good job, judy, if you're out there. you took wonderful care of your book. oh, and your handwriting gets an A+! this 93-year-old book and book jacket look so good that you could consider them in near "fine" condition.  i found this very special book in a small town's antique store, located on the square. the store contains an enormous collection of vintage books, gathered throughout a lifetime by the elderly owner. he said he went to his first auction at age seven and lucked out with a boxful of treasures he re-sold for a profit and "was then hooked for life." as i looked through his beautiful collection of vintage children's book, he hovered nearby, clea
