DAY 5 - "Creation of Birds"

  MATERIALS AND PROCESS This piece was created with layers of acrylic, oil, and gold leaf on a hand-built wood panel. The gold leaf background brings a sense of light and reverence, setting the tone for the peacock’s regal presence. The frame was also custom made for this piece, designed to echo the ornate feeling of the painting. It measures 30x45 inches framed and comes ready to hang.   This process reflects my commitment to creating art that not only decorates but also illuminates any space.    MEANING: Art has this beautiful way of telling us that we matter. When we recognize elements of our own lives and identities in artwork, it’s like finding a piece of home—it comforts us and boosts our self-esteem.  Art should act as a mirror, reflecting our stories and  fostering empathy and curiosity across all backgrounds.
