This beautiful kimono jacket can be made from an upcycled kimono, or another fabric of your choice. Pick a beautiful fabric with a bit of stiffness. Most of the seams in this pattern are straight lines, so it is an impressive project that is a fairly easy sew. Oh, and it has pockets! If you wish, you can use a different fabric for the neckband and belt. Using a different fabric here could be a way to use a precious or upcycled fabric.  MATERIALS Choose a stiffer woven (non-stretch) fabric.
