This striking cowl is a quick knit and a great introduction to doing color work using slipped stitches. Because the design is created using slipped stitches, you are only ever knitting with one strand of yarn at a time. No need to worry about stranding. The pattern calls for one skein of a worsted weight yarn in a solid, such as Malabrigo Merino Worsted and one skein of a self-striping yarn such as Reggae Ombré or Silk Garden. You'll need 16-inch circular needles in size US 7 & 8.
