Zen-Wu Plane Blade (for metallic planes)

Our plane blades are compatible with most Bailey- and Stanley-style planes, including models from Lie-Nielsen, Veritas (standard line only, not custom line), WoodRiver, and Clifton, etc. Blades are made from either Zen-Wu ZW-V0 or CPM Magnacut steel, both feature excellent edge retention, while Magnacut has the additional benefit of higher rust resistance. The blade is laminated for dimensional stability, sharpen-ability and harmonics reduction. ZW-V0 blades are 4.3 mm thick, laminated into soft iron, and paired with a 2.7 mm stainless steel chipbreaker. Magnacut and ZW-V2 blades are 4.0 mm thick, laminated into titanium, and come with a 3.0 mm titanium alloy chipbreaker. Both blade types are flat, razor-sharp and ready to use. Older Stanley planes may need minor mouth filing to accommodate the thicker blades, steps see included instructions. Comes with a titanium screw driver and an extra compatibility slider.
