Which finish should I select? Unintuitively, the smooth finish feels a bit like glass and is slightly gripper than the textured finish. Regarding aesthetics: a general rule of thumb is that translucent colors look great with both textured and holo/smooth finishes. If you're going with an opaque inlay color, however, I find the textured and holographic finishes look nicer than the regular smooth.
