Ancient Of Days

Story We see the term “Ancient of Days” first appear in the bible where Daniel is talking about his vision of heaven. In that vision he sees “Ancient of Days”, or God, sitting on a flaming throne. God is referred to as “Ancient of Days” because that term refers to the idea that he existed long before any other creation. When you think of the idea that someone or something existed long before we did it can be strange, but it can also be comforting that there is something greater than us that we can choose to put our faith in. Whether that be God, another religious figure, luck, fate, karma, or positivity.  It feels good to believe in something greater than ourselves. It gives us a sense of purpose and belonging in a life that can seem so unstable and confusing at times. Over the years, I've found one of the best things we can choose to believe in is one another because at the end of the day we are all human; and, we are all in this crazy thing we call life, together.  Artist:William B
