Mulberry and walnut support spindle, with panta pear bowl

A medium weight spindle, this beauty boasts a whorl that's highly figured and in gorgeous and bold yellow wood grain in mulberry wood, and a beech shaft. Weighing in at 23 grams, the smooth and medium length shaft tapers considerably for a powerful flick when you spin. It's accompanied with a muted medium walnut wood that has its own interesting grain.  In a test spin, we found this to have a long and stable spin and this would be beautiful for a variety of fibers, but especially nice for a crimpy medium wool in a woolen prep.  Kravelli spindles are handmade for us in the country of Georgia and they are one of a kind.
