Mulberry and walnut support spindle, with pear bowl set

Weighing in at 27 grams, this is a nice and weighty spindle, featuring a figured mulberry yellow whorl. We love the wood grain on this, and the way it contrasts with the gorgeous walnut brown shaft. This is a longer length shaft with a nice taper for fast rotational speed.  We have paired this with a coordinating pear bowl.  In a test spin, we found that this spindle has spins stably for a long time, which is great for a large variety of wools. We think this would be especially lovely on a woolen prep medium wool. Kravelli spindles are handmade for us in the country of Georgia and they are one of a kind.
