A medium abstract landscape, 24 x 24 x1.5 inches, acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. This series is based on a plein air painted in February of 2023. The deeply saturated hues and rich fog bank were of particular interest in that session. In the studio I abstracted the composition to reflect some of the more graphic qualities from the plein air. I incorporated some whimsical elements that reflect my own childhood joy associated with this location.
