Solid Dish Soap in Second Life Vessel This is one of my first two soaps that are aimed at more sustainable living and creating. I knew that there have been recipes-of-old that made solid soaps for dishwashing, but I had the impression that they were very much "of their time" and not really feasible with today's "better" options. Better yet, I think they are absolutely stunning when poured directly into thrifted vessels! My preference is clear glass or porcelain. I love to give these kinds of containers a second life! Furthermore, once you are done with the soap, they are easy to clean and to be donated again if you wish, to give them yet a third life. Nothing better than that! This solid dish soap formula is designed to make sure that hard water spots after laboriously handwashing dishes are a thing of the past.
