The ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing System) was developed by the U.S. Army in the 1980s, incorporating the latest technology and quality materials to meet extreme weather standards. Issued in 2006, this military deadstock item was made for temperatures ranging from 40 °F (4 °C) to −40 °F (−40 °C) and features material that is lightweight, fast-drying, and highly versatile. This is an authentic deadstock item. Deadstock items are past production, uncirculated items that are in unused condition, but may shows signs of age. This item has been authenticated by Alpha Industries.
