The ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing System) was developed by the U.S. Army in the 1980s, incorporating the latest technology and quality materials to meet extreme weather standards. Part of Gen III of the ECWCS and issued in 2007 for use in Afghanistan, this jacket is constructed from machine-washable Polartec fleece that's built to endure. This is an authentic deadstock item. Deadstock items are past production, uncirculated items that are in unused condition, but may shows signs of age. This item has been authenticated by Alpha Industries.
