The British PLCE system is essentially the UK's equivalent to USGI ALICE. This belt and harness system is well made and practical even in comparison to more modern setups. This listing comes with an assorted assemblage of at least four pouches as well as a belt and harness. Personal Load Carrying Equipment was first adopted as standard issue in 1989, seven years after the Falklands War. Older canvas webbing systems were still in service at that time and their obsolescence became painfully clear during the conflict.  PLCE still serves today, albeit with some minor updates and a new Multicam-inspired camouflage pattern.
