
Omega Constellation
Why We Love It The Constellation was once Omega’s flagship model. A contemporary to the original Speedmaster, Seamaster SM300, Railmaster and DeVille lines, the Connie was a popular choice during its day and age, known for their award-winning precision movements and high-concept design execution. Over the years Omega produced many different Constellation models, with a wide variation in case shape and dial design. This particular example, a Reference 168.017, dates to circa 1970 and features a svelte 35mm cushion case paired with a matching mesh bracelet with a signed clasp, and the highlight of this piece - a gorgeous silver linen dial doubled signed with the signature of Swiss retailer Türler. This dial also features applied indices, a framed date window, and Tritium luminous plots with a matching handset. This Constellation is powered by Omega's Calibre 564 automatic movement with a chronometer certification - of course sporting the observatory engraved caseback. This lovely
