Why We Love It It’s safe to say that the Omega Speedmaster Professional is a horological icon and arguably one of the most important chronographs made. Also one of our most commonly requested models, we are constantly looking for the best examples of all manually wound Speedmasters, and have just turned up this stunning example from circa 1976. This particular model is one of the rare finds that comes complete with its full set, including the inner and outer boxes, instructions and guarantee paperwork dated to 12/25/1977. Another notable feature of this piece is its iconic case back with the Speedmaster hippocampus in a medallion in the center and engraved text surrounding which reads ”Flight-Qualified By NASA For All Manned Space Missions, The First Watch Worn on the Moon."
