This fountain pen has never been inked and always contained in the box from a non-smoking home. I consider this pen in Mint Condition and New Old Stock in original box. The barrel and cap are gorgeous with beautiful Amber color, polished with a high shine. There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs to this fountain pen. The cap of this fountain pen carries the "white dot", Sheaffer's lifetime guarantee symbol and the pen has been untouched in the box.
