This beautiful serigraph print was made by Israeli artist Itzchak Tarkay (1935 - 2012). Tarkay was a Post-Impressionist Expressionist known for his idealistic portraits of elegant ladies. He primarily worked with watercolors and acrylics, and his use of bright and vivid colors was inspired by fauvists, such as Henri Matisse. He was able to achieve these rich, dream-like colors through serigraph prints.  <p>  This specific print is a portrait of two ladies in colorful garments.
