A single-vineyard gamay from Portico Hills in Los Alamos. The grapes were cold soaked for five days before undergoing spontaneous fermentation. Aged in neutral French oak barrels and sulfured minimally before bottling. This is a modern, approachable gamay, meant to be drunk young. Think light-bodied, with aromatics of peony, and cherry and raspberry on the palate.
