A pair of mold-formed pottery crescent shaped dishes, decorated with flow blue garlands and beaded edge details. In the Clarence pattern by W.H. Grindley & Co. The edges and wells feature outlining with lace-like embossing . They are marked with the pattern name and maker. MEASUREMENTS 7 1/8” long x 4” wide x 1 1/8” deep. Weighs 10.4 oz (285 g) CONDITION There are no chips, cracks or breaks, and crazing is very limited. Both dishes have very little wear. The transfers on one dish have bled a bit more than the other. Both dishes have typical kiln flaws, such as pinholes and uneven glaze. One dish has a bit more discoloration than the other, The maker’s mark on that one is much harder to read than the other dish.
