“Forbidden Island” was inspired by 2 black and white vintage photos and a shot I took at the #PlaceOfRefuge on the Big Island of Hawaii. A beautiful wahine watches a wooden schooner drop anchor in an idyllic tropical lagoon with a majestic volcanic mountains in the distance. The 2 menacing tikis watch over her and could portent troubled waters ahead for the visiting sailors. This is an archival quality hand-signed and numbered canvas giclee print, from editions of 100 prints, created from my original acrylic painting, and is part of my Tiki art series.
