Solidago rugosa 'Fireworks' Commonly known as Rough Goldenrod, this native plant features stiff lateral branches that are covered in bright yellow flowers cascading like fireworks. Expect blooms in late summer into fall. Plant in full sun with average garden soil. This no-fuss perennial tolerates clay and wet soils just fine. Attractive to many different pollinators, especially bees and butterflies. Recipient of the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
