This is an original, one-of-a-kind painting by Norfolk, Connecticut-based artist John Funt entitled Large Topiary with Plums, 2024. From the artist: "Painted before the Holidays, I was again prompted by the magnificent, robustly carved frame to paint a bold subject with plenty of pale blue surrounding a fantasy tree--thinking its leaves and the intricate carving on the frame would be compatible. The stoneware jar and the French console table have followed me everywhere."
