This is an original, one-of-a-kind painting by Norfolk, Connecticut-based artist John Funt entitled Magnolia in a Print Room, 2025. From the artist: "Sonata, the miniature dachshund always looked like she was sailing in a little boat while in her basket. I remember her here with love. A collection of old manuscript prints of exotic plants line the backdrop for the magnificent Yellow Lanterns magnolia, its creamy blossoms offset by emerging lime leaves. This painting is on canvas, differing from my usual wood panel, due to its large dimensions."
