Choice Very Fine Roman Empire silver denarius coin. Struck for Emperor Trajan at Rome Mint between 103 to 113 CE, likely circa 106 CE to celebrate victory over the Dacians. Approx 18.5mm, RIC 129, RSC 76. Certified by NGC to Ch VF Bushed. Obverse:  IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P, laureate bust right with drapery on right shoulder.  Reverse: COS V P P S P Q R OPTIMO PRINC, Victory standing left on shields, half draped, holding wreath and palm. Victory was the personification of military triumph by the Roman Legions, here associated with the Roman Legion's triumphs over Dacia.
