Very Fine Bolivia Spanish Colonial cob silver 8 reales (dollar) coin. Struck 1654 for King Philip IV at the Potosi Mint (mint mark P, assayer E PH). Well struck on broad uneven planchet, approx 38mm, 27.25g. Three dates: obverse (1654, 54), reverse (654), extremely rare as such. Two denominations (8), two mint marks (P) and three assayer letter (E), one assayer letters (PH). Most of reverse legend is readable, including PHILIPVS IIII DG HIS.... Certified by NGC to VF 25.
