Very Fine Bolivia Spanish Colonial Cob silver 1 real coin. Struck at the Potosi Mint for King Philip IV (mint mark P), assayer E. Issued posthumously for Philip who died in 1665. Clear date (66), two mint marks (P) & assayer letter (E), nearly full cross. Clear mint name "POTOSI" on obverse, very rare as such on 1 real coinage! 2.71g, approx 19 x 21mm. Certified by NGC to Clipped. Population Census: No coins with an assigned numerical grade. NGC did not assign a numerical grade as the coin was slightly clipped, nominal minimum weight 3.0g.
