Almost Uncirculated Brazil silver 960 Reis 1820 coin. Minted at the Rio mint (mint mark R) & over-struck over a Charles IV Bolivia 1817 Spanish Colonial 8 reales coin. Rare example where the Bolivia 8 reales undertype date and assayer's initials are visible. Date: 1817 visible approx. 5:00 to 5:30 obverse. Bolivia (Potosi) Assayer's Initials: PJ visible approx. 12:00 reverse. Certified by NGC to AU 58, toned with some underlying luster.
