Mint State Brazil silver 960 reis overstruck on Spanish Colonial Peru 8 reales coin. NGC Certified to MS 64, Population Census 10 coins, only 3 higher (MS65). Toned with considerable colorfull underlying luster. Overstruck on Colonial Spainish 8 reales from Peru. Assayer's initials, J.P., are uniquely associated with Lima from 1810 to 1824 and are boldly visible reverse 6:00. Date is faint but appears to be 1813 (see obverse between X of REX and star above crown). No International Shipping.
