Advanced Workshop: Design and Glaze your own 12" Mural - Hand Drawing with Wax (Select Fridays at 10am)

4 Hour Experience: Design and Glaze your own design on a ceramic tile mural, 12" x 12" (made of 4 6" tiles).730 S. Stone Avenue, Tucson, Arizona This Studio C instructor-led workshop is recommended for advanced level. You are encouraged to plan and bring your own design ideas for a 12" squre. You will walk step by step through sketching and sizing your own design, hand drawing with wax, and glazing a 12" square ceramic tile mural in the cuerda seca "dry cord" style, where wax outlines create a barrier between glaze colors. You will be able to choose your own color palette. All materials are provided. The instructor will kiln fire your tile after the workshop and it will be available for pickup or shipping in one week after the workshop. You will be able to have the mural set and grouted into a frame for an additional charge. If you want to create more than one mural or choose another design, additional 6" tiles pre-printed with a variety of designs will be available for add-on purchase
