Norman England 1066; William the Conqueror Map
Handpainted and researched map of William the Conqueror's invasion of Anglo Saxon England in 1066. Everything is written in Latin and the script is based off of the contemporary Domesday Book to ensure accuracy. In this fateful year for world history, England would be forever changed and the Viking era officially comes to an end. The bottom section is my interpretation of the Bayeux Tapestry, which recorded the events.High quality giclee print available at various sizes. The actual detail is greater than in the photos, which have been compressed.Unfortunately, I do not typically sell my prints with the frames but if that is something you are interested in, please contact me directly. Additionally, if you are interested in the original rather than a print, please contact me directly.
