Certified Texas License to Carry a Handgun (LTC) Class with NRA Basic Pistol. Saturday, October 11, 2025 @ 9:00 a.m.

Texas License to Carry a Handgun (LTC) class (formerly known as CHL) to include NRA Basic Pistol.  This class is for beginning shooters.  It consists of six to seven (6-7) hours of class time and one (1-2) hour range time with a Military Veteran that is a Texas DPS and NRA Certified License to Carry a Handgun Instructor.  You will learn about the proper safety and use of a firearm, ways to obtain non-violent dispute resolution, proper gun storage, conceal and open carry laws, the new permitless "constitutional" carry laws and more.  All classroom materials are provided.   In addition, this class teaches basic and defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, and how to choose a handgun for self-defense.  You do not need to own a handgun for this class.  You will need a .22 or larger handgun and no laser or modified sights along with 50 rounds of ammunition to qualify for the range portion of the class.  If you do not own a handgun you
