Martin Margiela AW1999 Socked Mule/Boot (Black Leather and Wool)

Martin Margiela AW1999 Socked Mule/Boot (Black Leather and Wool)  Another iteration of an incredibly unique and rare shoe. This version pulls the two separate silhouettes of the mule and boot together by utilizing a wool sock. The sock can simply be placed on top of the mule through the 2 holes created to accommodate the toe box and the cylindrical heel. There is a platform sole utilized at the front part of the shoe to support the wearer. The mule itself is fabricated in a beautiful black leather and the sock is created of wool. The juxtaposition of the two materials provides a very interesting pair. Just like the other pair(s), the mule is a slip-on but once the sock has been placed it becomes a zipped shoe.This shoe is in fantastic condition considering the age. There are no significant markings/wear on the shoe. There is minor heel wear on the back that has come with normal wear and age.  Marked as a size 37 and measurements are as follows.  Heel - 2.75"  Platform - 0.5" Insole
