Martin Margiela AW1999 Socked Mule/Boot (Black Leather on Leather)

The third and last version available of this distinctive and rare shoe. This version pulls the two separate silhouettes of the mule and boot together by utilizing a laced leather sock. The sock can simply be placed on top of the mule through the 2 holes created to accommodate the toe box and the cylindrical heel. There is a platform sole utilized at the front part of the shoe to support the wearer. The mule and sock are created of a high quality full grain leather. Just like the other pair(s), the mule is a slip-on but once the sock has been placed it becomes a laced boot. This shoe is in fantastic condition considering the age. There are no significant markings/wear on the shoe. There is minor heel wear on the back that has come with normal wear and age.  Marked as a size 38.5 and measurements are as follows.  Heel - 3"  Platform - 0.5" Insole - 10"  Outer Sole - 10.5"
