24" x 36" x 1.5" Watercolor, acrylic gouache, glass bead gel, silvery glitter paper on clay-coated wood panel Begonia maculata are hearty plants!!! The one in my home is still going strong after years of mediocre plant care. Using silver glitter paper and glass bead gel, I set out to emulate the silvery polka dots and almost reflective red leaf backs that I'm drawn to as an artist. These additions also make it possible to enjoy by touch in addition to sight (don't worry, it's been varnished, like all my paintings)! Hope its fluorescent background and shimmery details brighten up the darkest space you occupy. P.S. Wish it were available at a lower price point?
