Côme Isambert Pere Little Robin 2020

Grape Varieties: Grolleau Noir, Pineau d’Aunis, Gamay, Cabernet Franc Little Robin was born when Côme had a vat of 2016 Cabernet Franc whosefermentation got stuck. In 2017, he blended some of this Cabernet Franc into a vat offermenting Grolleau Noir, which led to the first edition of Little Robin! All of thegrapes in this particular vintage are from 2020. Côme (and many people!) were bigfans of the profile of Little Robin, so he continues to make a wine under this name. Itis medium bodied with notes of guava, paprika, and a slight hint of white pepper.This wine is quite versatile and could be paired with a variety of main courses, suchas cooked ham, goose, chicken, and rabbit.
