OP118: Cylindropuntia leptocaulis (Long Spined Form) COLD HARDY CACTUS

This Christmas Tree Cholla has a very thin, twiggy stems in a mass of one inch long shimmering golden spines. Green flowers followed by ABUNDANT red fruit. 2-4 feet high and wide. Zone 5. This form is from far north in Quay Co., NM.  (Grummons).  Sold in 2.5-inch pots. Plant this with OP024 Cylindropuntia leptocaulis (Short Spined Form) to provide good pollination.  This will ensure heavy fruit set.
