DALMATIAN STONE, spotted like the dog but without the barking Like the dog of a similar name, these DALMATIAN STONES from Mexico are a mass of black spots on a beige background.  Although it is often called a jasper, it is not a true jasper but a feldspar quartz. They are sorted and polished.  SIZE:  Extra-Large, approximately 1-1/4" to 2".  (30-50mm).  Some stones may be larger.  Why?  See the section below on sorting. WEIGHT:  Each package weighs 1/2 pound.
