This artwork represents the feeling of being grounded and starting a new era, blooming into your own being. The spirals around the body representing the calm that comes with finding your footing. This piece is special to me because it is a self portrait that I sketched it out after some of the worst months of my life, at a moment when the chaos finally seemed to pause and I could set in some roots and give myself room to bloom.
