2022 Joseph Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru En Cailleret

Burghound 93 pts!  A ripe and vaguely exotic nose features notes of both white and yellow peach, passion fruit and cool citrus rind wisps. The delicious and solidly concentrated medium-bodied flavors possess a seductive mid-palate texture before concluding in a powerful and focused mineral-driven finish that offers excellent length. This does need to develop better depth but the potential is clearly evident. One to look for. (Drink starting 2032) Jasper Morris 92-95 pts!  A glowing pale lime colour. Some restrained floral notes, but not demonstrative. On the palate there is a strong line of chalky white fruit, with a discreet intensity, but clearly adequately ripe. Not a wine to drink young as there is so much more to give.
