2022 Marc Colin et Fils Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Montceau Blanc

2022 is one of the best vintages of all time for Marc Colin, and we have a crowd favorite today, the En Montceau. Marc Colin created this estate in the 70s with his wife through holdings inherited by the Colin family. Many of these vineyards had been in the family's possession for over a century. Like all of the Colin's, they specialize in White Burgundy as natives of Chassagne Montrachet. Though the vineyards have been split up among many family members, they continue to do the Colin name justice. Today, Marc's granddaughter Caroline Colin runs the estate, which now spans 12 hectares and 26 appellations practicing Lutte Raisonee and is experimenting with organics in some vineyards. The En Monteceau is typically always one of the wines of the vintage from Saint-Aubin, and that is most certainly true today, with the '22 being the best example ever made here.
