Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese braiding technique employed to make rope ties for Kimonos.  Jewelers have adapted this technique to make beautiful cord or beaded ropes in many styles  In this class we will complete a round 8 strand beaded rope bracelet with a tie slide knot closure.  This is a popular class so sign up early! Saturday 8/23/25. 10am - 12:30pm $36.00 + materials ** *We have a wide selection of glass and ceramic beads, gemstones, pearls, shell, wood and seed beads to choose from.  Students are asked not to bring in outside materials, but we will work with anyone needing to stay within a budget to find the perfect materials at the right price for their project.  It is recommended that students come in before the class day to pick out their supplies and pre-string their beads.
