Sainsbury's Bloater Paste Pot

Ironstone Bloater Paste Pot from by J. Sainsbury in c.1900, England. The crock has a very weathered matte feel to the ironstone and a unique patina of rusty pink staining and crazing.   Approx. 2.8" tall x 2.5" wide  Chip on backside. Rough area on lip. This piece of pottery is from England and were used during the Victorian Era. They have been excavated and have developed a unique patina from being buried under the dirt for decades.
