Lobo (Olive Handle)
Lobo is a bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing if the wolf was trying to sneak into the produce section. While at first glance it looks like a butcher's cleaver, Lobo is more suited for dicing veggies than chopping bones. It is most similar to our Noa Nakiri Knife but features a taller blade for added clearance and a slightly more curved blade towards the angled nose. Handle: This model features an olive wood handle known for its unique, irregular grain patterns, and its rich coloring, making it one of our favorites. Other available handles include Purple Heart and Guayubira. Blade: The blade is made of 420 MOV Stainless Steel, which is one of the most widely used knife-making in the world. Please note, that most of our other knives use Sandvik, which is a more premium option. 420 is of a very respectable quality, and will get just as sharp as other blades, and allows us to try out a more accessible price point.
