Era: early 1940s Approx. size: medium shoulders: 13 ½” (puff sleeves provide extra room!)bust: 38”waist: 28/29”high hip: 34”hip: freebodice length: 16 ½”skirt length: 44” Semi-sheer seersucker in palest blue with lilac print. puff sleeves, knot detail at bust, yoked waist and hips, full bias cut skirt.   material: cottonclosure: metal side zipperlabel: none present condition: good/very good. freshly washed, mended and ready to wear. some faint rusty type stains did not fully lift with soaking, these are largely lost in the print, texture, and drape, but are present (see images), a handful of small holes near the zipper have been invisibly patched. Patched ½” L tear in skirt (disappears in drape) Some other scattered small holes noted; a few around the back neck where some fade/thinning is evident. Flaws are easy to overlook and I think this would still make a lovely piece for a special event or photoshoot, worn with care.
