Simon Bize Savigny Les Beaune Rouge 1er Cru Les Talmettes 2018 This 1er Cru Pinot oozes with nuanced flavors of black cherries, damp earth, smoke, and crushed rocks. Chewy tannins and structured acidity assure that this wine will benefit from a few years of cellar aging. (Very few producers work with fruit from ‘Les Talmettes’ and Bize is one of them. The fruit wasn’t vinified as a single-vineyard until just 13 years ago.)
