This 1er Cru Pinot oozes with nuanced flavors of black cherries, damp earth, smoke, and crushed rocks. Chewy tannins and structured acidity assure that this wine will benefit from a few years of cellar aging. (Very few producers work with fruit from ‘Les Talmettes’ and Bize is one of them. Fruit wasn’t vinified as a single-vineyard until just 13 years ago.)
